I was just browsing today's diaries and was marveled at how quickly the news of J.T. Plumber's no-show was caught and then posted on DKos. Amazing.
It's also amazing to me to realize the depths to which the McCain campaign will sink. If he were in front of me I'd say, "Joe, the McCain campaign is using you. You are being exploited, pimped, for a few undecided votes. Joe - where's your pride?"
For the second part, there is some very uplifting news that will slow the hand wringing.
This week's Time magazine has some new battleground polling. They show steady leads for Obama.
Obama leads McCain among likely voters by 51% to 47% in Ohio, a 4-point margin that has not budged since last week's TIME survey.
The survey now reflects gains in two swing states.
But he now leads McCain by 52% to 45% in Nevada and by 52% to 46% in North Carolina, margins which are both slightly larger than those reported by TIME in its surveys a week earlier.
Yesterday Rasmussen reported a 3 point edge for Obama nationally, but today has hi lead by 5. Just wanted to share some good news.
