I am new to diaries, so it didn't even occur to me that my original diary title would seem trollish. My apologies for getting anyone worked up. I just wanted to mention how something could be misunderstood in Obama's commercial.
I understand Obama's tax plan (or think that I do), my concern is the communication to the public.
The reason it's getting brought up today is because Bill Richardson made a comment that I believe is getting misunderstood (well, misunderstood on purpose).
As soon as I saw, in Obama's commercial, that under $200,000 will get a tax cut I thought "explain why it's not $250,000".
He has been talking about $250,000 so much that when the $200,000 came on the screen I figured that would start some confusion.
Sure enough, tonight when I switched during a Keith O. commercial to see what the lies were on Fix News- Sarah Palin was saying Obama's tax cut used to be $250,000 now it's $200,000 it's soon going to be $40,000 like before. She even looked over at Todd for confirmation and he nodded. Oh please.
Greta what's her butt mentioned Richardson's comment and that's what starts the discussion.
Richardson never says it caps at $120,000. He says "and there is a tax cut for those".
But it was just the comment that McLiar and co. love to pounce on.
Thought we could clarify what Richardson meant so we could all be prepared for when our repub friends throw it at us.
