Apologies if someone else caught this, but late last night I saw part of McCain's speech on CNN.
He proclaimed, loudly, that one big difference between he and Obama was his foe would spend $700 billion bailing out Wall Street and he won't.
Umm, John, you did.
So did Obama and most of Congress. Yes.
For good or ill we can debate, but does John McCain even know one day to the next what he's doing.
I mean, it's clear he doesn't know what his campaign is doing. The campaign says Ayres is critical; he says he doesn't care about a washed up terrorist. The canpaign says Obama is a socialist; McCain doesn't say so.
There seems to be a complete disconnect from reality on the part of McCain, whether by choice or something else.
Edited:Bingo! I found the quote at McCain's web wite: "I'm not going to spend $750 billion dollars of your money just bailing out the Wall Street bankers and brokers who got us into this mess. Senator Obama will."
