I understand the whole media desire to want a tight race. But she is getting quite annoying with the incessant harping of a close race based on one poll from PA that shows the race at 4. It's the only poll that has the race that close.
It's not just about Brewer -- the entire media is pushing this race is tightening bullshit. Why can't the media just cover the race as it is? It's just really annoying for the media to drive a story, based on cherry picked polls, to push a narrative that suits their pecuniary interests.
It's obvious to most people that a close race will pull in more viewers. And, of course, more viewers means more in advertising dollars. But why are they so blatant about it?
One thing you'll notice is that the MSM has talked a lot about many things in this election -- advertising, strategy, etc. But we all know that in 2004, the difference in the election was "ground game." For without the superior ground game, Kerry would be President right now. Has the MSM devoted time to this important facet of the campaign? No. Because, they know full well that to talk about it would be to expose what is most obvious in this election: McCain can't win a close election because he has no ground game and that's likely to make the election not close at all.
And one last thing: Rachel Maddow needs to stop concern trolling.
That is all.
