We had a 4 1/2 hour line at my polling place in 1992. Somebody ordered a pizza, and when the guy showed up I convinced him (it wasn't hard) to return with as many as he could carry and sell them by the slice for a quarter. He kept the shuttle going til midnight, selling out as fast as they could bake 'em.
You might even pick up a few extra bucks by seeing if they'll hire you on as a special deliverer. Should be decent tips, especially for polling places near college campuses.
