Denton County, Texas, a Republican stronghold for years. In 2004, 202,000 voters gave George Bush 70 per cent of the vote. Our dippy Congressman, Dr. Michael Burgess felt confident enough of his easy re-election to campaign out of state for McCain. There are no Democratic elected officials in this county.
We have no paid Obama workers in the county. We registered an additional 35,000 new voters for a total of 358,000 registered for this election.
But, we fight. And how! If McSame carries this county it will be because they just have more than we can overcome.

As of today, we have early voted approximately 90 to 95 per cent of the 2004 turnout! If today's count is as heavy as it appears, 190,000 will have voted already!
The County election officials expect another 100,000 voters on Tuesday.
An 80 to 85 per cent turnout will be unbelievable. We are thrilled. The local Republicans are in shock. Everyone admits that it is not John McSame and Failin who are sparking the turnout.
If we do not turn Texas Blue, it will not be without the biggest political fight in recent memory.
The good news is the normal Texas money flowing into Republican coffers is being depleted here.
Barack need not worry. We have his back covered here. God Bless Texas, and do not forget to vote.
