Ok, let me let you know a couple of things: (1) this is my first attempt at a diary (2) I am disabled and only type with one hand, so I may not last three paragraphs and (3) well there is no three. This is just what I feel Obama needs to hit McCain over the head with the first time he says change or enough is enough!
I was lying in bed at 2am this morning trying to figure out the difference between when Obama says "Enough is Enough" and when McCain says it. I think I got it. You see, that phrase is not just something you say, it's something you feel. It's what you feel when something has gone wrong in a relationship for the umpteenth time; it's what you feel when your co-worker has weaseled his/her way out of work for the third time this week; it's what you feel when you've worked all day, come home and the kids are out of control; the spouse says "where's dinner?" and the dog has dug up the neighbor's yard again. It's what you feel when you realize that everytime we hand this country over to the Republican party, they hand it back to us broken, bleeding, and barely breathing.(example: when the Republicans were in control in the 80s, we the people had to bail the S&L crisis to the tune of 2 billion dollars; this time under Republican rule, we have been hit to the tune of 700 billion dollars).
Obama has to make John McCain and America understand that unless you feel this deep down, the words are empty and ring holllow. Only true conviction and conscious give authority to these words. This is the righteous indignation, the rage that Obama needs to communicate to the american people, that feeling you get in the pit of your stomach when you know Enough Is Enough!
