George Will is a racist pig.

This morning George Will made a comment on camera in response to Katrina vanden Heuvel regarding the current economic melt-down. it was the most despicably racist comment I have ever heard from a nominally educated human being. I tried finding an open thread to post this to, but none looked appropriate. Follow me for a quick discussion.

Katrina vanden Heuvel responded to a question about our ongoing economic melt-down, correctly describing it as "the failure of the free market ideology", and forthrightly describing the bail-out as "a swindle". She then explained this as an opportunity for a progressive Obama administration to reimpose desperately needed regulation on Wall Street.

What was George Will's response?

George Will stated that this economic collapse was in fact caused by "government interference" in the market. More specifically, it was because government "forced mortgage lenders to provide mortgages to low income and minority borrowers".

That's right. George Will says this Wall Street collapse is all the fault of the poor and the blacks, because government forced banks to give those shiftless losers mortgages.

George Will is racist swine. I think he has officially forfeited his pundit's license.
