My sister, Andrea, gave me some food for thought. I would like to expand upon her theory and ask my readers to seriously consider what I'm going to propose before you rush to judgement about a certain group of people in our, and every other, society around the world.
I imagine there are case studies, medical studies, and anthropological studies concerning the afflication about which I'm going to write. I wouldn't know where to begin research, because, if it's not on Bravo or Facebook, I don't know about it.
What if certain members of our society were born with a gene which made them hateful/fearful/self-loathful. Would you find them less of a threat? Would we be able to treat them with medicines or behavioral therapies which would make them more compassionate, more loving, more peaceful? Since these HATERSEXUALS (I made that up, for lack of a better term,) are less concerned with people than they are with money and things, I'm assuming they have health care coverage and could afford the treatments. Getting the insurance companies to cover the treatments will prove to be more of a challenge. Who do you think is running those companies? That's right; HATERSEXUALS! They may even be gay, but they are the ones who carry the third component of this gene: Self-Loathing.
So the next time you want to vomit after listening to a right wing nut spout their hate/fear/loathing remember they may have been born with the inability to think beyond themselves and their wallets. Being compassionate is just not in their DNA. In no way, do I want you to think I support their rhetoric, just remember we all know people or might even have one of these HATERSEXUALS in our own famiies.
I hope for a day when all people can live with peace and equality. But I really don't think the HATERSEXUALS should have the right to marry or reproduce, what if they pass it on???
Further studies are indicated.
Love,
Jenny
