Hi all,
We are looking at two years of a large majority in the Senate, right? Now, I'm not a wonk by any means at all...I just want to see things change in this country. Howard Dean brought me to this blog, Howard Dean is one of the great heroes of the 2008 turnaround...but what of 2010?
I don't think two years is very long and I want to know NOW what's gonna happen. Follow me below the fold for more silly conjecture.
I'm not a big diary writer, but now that we have a new Senator from Alaska...and Minnesota and Georgia LOOK winnable...well...
I live here in Flori-duh...where we've gone blue for Obama, very very red against gay marriage...and Mel Martinez is still senator for two more years. Heck, moderate Dem Bill Nelson is our other senator.
So, who can tell me the prospects to boot out Martinez? Who is looking run against him? What other Republican Senators are up in 2010 and how good are their chances? Will be see a 60+ majority in 2010? I certainly certainly CERTAINLY hope so...but what do I know? I'm basically clueless. Who can help me?
