I thought since I haven't seen anyone else blog, I'll give my thoughts on McCain and Palin Fey on SNL tonight.
It seemed to me that McCain was acting as though he knows he's not going to win, and is going out on a laugh. The bits where they talk about how expensive it is campaign, while Palin Fey strokes her outfit was funny, although I couldn't tell if he saw Fey do it.
For the "going rogue" segment however McCain seemed in on the joke, it would have been very hard to explain him being silent while Palin Fey showed off her "Palin 2012" T-shirts and told people to try not to wear them until Wednesday. I think he was in on this and is getting in a poke at Palin now.
When McCain gave his "campaign strategies" on Weekend Update, my first reaction to him talking about "negative maverick" strategy, whereby he does whatever anyone tell him to do was "isn't that part of why he's in such a bad position now?" When he talked about "Double maverick" where he goes off all crazy, again, isn't that what he's up to.
It's hard to see how this encourages anyone to vote for him, which is part of why I think McCain is going out by trying to have a little fun.

P.S. I voted for Obama about a week ago. :D
