(I did a partial post of this on a Huffpo comment. robertangel30. And just a bragging point I made initial contact with Obama campaign when they booked their reservations at W New York during the primaries.)
With each presidential cycle we see the same story repeated about how the presidency seems to age its occupants faster than normal.
Anyone who knows anything about aging research knows that stress is an age accelerator. Only supplementation with anti-aging vitamins and antioxidants can combat the extra massive stress that must be inherent in the presidency.
Of course Obama is already on the right track with daily excercize. However, excess excercize can also accelerate aging so he musn't overdo it.
With that in mind I strongly recommend the following for Barack Obama.
presidency seems to age its occupants faster than normal.
I recommend the following as minimum for an anti-aging regimen.
(all should be taken in capsule form to avoid unnecessary fillers)
Omega 3 fish oil (not flax)
B comlex
vitamin C 2,000 mg (10,000 if he is still smoking)in divided does
Alpha Lipoic Acid (must be taken with Biotin)
L-Carnosine
Benfotiamine
[How could I forget!! Green tea three or 4 times a day]
As I said the above are the minimum.
I would also recommend grass-fed or pasture raised meats as much as possible and all types of organic foods.
Maintaining total carbohydrates to 75 to 120--depending on activity levels for the day--will also help since excess sugars in the diet are age accelerators as well.
I want Obama to look, feel and be as healthy in eight years as he does today.
I have been studying anti-aging research for about 20 years or so since I wanted to ameliorate the effects of smoking. (Don't bother saying I a hypocrite. I have heard it enough.) I take alot more supplements than those above and will be celebrating my 48th birthday tomorrow 11/22. No one believes my age, they all peg me much younger.
An excellent place to research the best of these suppliments is www.lef.org They are extreme but they have some excellent research and news articles.
[EDIT: This is not a tongue in cheek diary. I am dead serious about it. ]
