Now as the election wraps up all the dirty work is left. The election was the easy part. Here comes the clean-up after the party. Enter the legendary Vincent Bugliosi.
Older bloggers may remember Bugliosi as the famed attorney who prosecuted the Manson Family back in 1970. Earlier this year, Bugliosi introduced his book, "The Prosecution of George Bush for Murder, in which he presents the legal case for the prosecution of George Bush after he leaves office.
"...Bush Administration officials took this nation to war in Iraq on a lie - under false pretenses - and therefore under the law they are guilty of murder for the deaths of over 4,000 young American soldiers who have died so far in Iraq fighting their war."
Bugliosi goes on...
"In this white paper which I have in front of me the conclusion of U.S. intelligence is that Saddam Hussein is not an imminent threat to this country was completely deleted."
In the video, Bugliosi reviews the evidence. Then he brings up the attempt to impeach President Bill Clinton...
"On December 9th, 1998 a previous House Judiciary committee issued 4 articles of impeachment against Bill Clinton for doing something infinitely less significant then what the evidence shows the Bush Administration did in this case. Indeed it is a slander of the highest rank to even talk about them in the same breath or on the same page."
According to Bugliosi - a top prosecutor - his book outlines the steps necessary for an attorney representing an American family who has lost a loved one in the war to pursue to present a case for the prosecution of George Bush for murder. And murder has no statute of limitations.
He goes on to encourage congress that action is taken. What do you think?
