Obama's wave continues right here in Ohio. Democrats will control Ohio's House for the first time in 14 years...
wkyc.com:
COLUMBUS -- With Barack Obama's strong win in Ohio, the Democrats have also taken over the Ohio House for the first time since Verne Riffe was Speaker of the House and left that seat in 1994, according to the latest unofficial results released Wednesday morning.
State Rep. Armond Budish, (D-Beachwood) told the media that Democrats have actually gotten the four seats needed to have a 50-seat majority, and GOP state Rep. Matt Dolan, (R-Russell Township) agreed.
In fact, House Democrats could gain anywhere from five to seven seats once the counting is finished in a handful of very tight races.
Those races still being counted Wednesday morning are the 19th District in Franklin County and the 92nd District in southeast Ohio.
If Democrats gain six seats, they will hold a 52-47 majority.
That's what I'm talking about! I can't wait till we start redrawing districts in a couple of years.
