Sensing that he may not get traction with traditional publishing houses President George W. Bush has decided to go the independent route. He stopped by the press room earlier to announce his plans.
"I'll be writing my bio, 'Clearing Brush: My silver spoon story,' and having DC Coirish publish it. My mother suggested the spoon, heh."
The president was asked if DC Coirish was a new firm or a subsidiary.
"Oh it's legit. I just want to respect the Irish." Pressed for clarification he continued, "Karl always told me to be nice to ethnical groups so I thought they should be called DC Coirish instead of that disrespectful name."
"What name is that Mr. President?"
"You know, DC CoMics. That's not very respective. They really should change that."
