The US State Dept. in 2001 has verified Israel to be in violation of human rights.
Between the years 1996 to 2006 the US has given $24 billion in military aid to Israel. This is a direct violation of their own rules.
Iraq violated an almost identical Security Council Resolution #242 when it occupied Kuwait in 1990 provoking a US lead attack on Iraq. In contrast, Israel's violation has been rewarded with years of financial, military and diplomatic support.
