Looking at the latest polls that one can find in these two states, I like to compare the winners and the loser cross state. It gives me a different view of things ( I always like to look at things differently)
The latest NY poll I Can find is "Public Policy".
The latest IL poll I can find is "Research 2000".
Winning side
Public Policy shows Clinton winning NY with 45%
Research 2000 shows Obama winning IL with 51%.
Interesting Obama is ahead by 6% cross state.
Losing side
"Public Policy" out of NY shows Obama losing with 33%
"Research 2000" out of IL shows Clinton losing with 22%
Interesting again Obama is ahead cross state by 11%
Why this is interesting is how delegates are awarded by percentage not winner take all.
He wins IL by more than 5% more than she wins NY
and he loses NY by less than Clinton loses Ill.
So he wins by more and loses by less.
The momentum is with Obama.
