The use of super-delegates and the winner-take-all delegate counting belies a patently undemocratic streak in the Democratic Party.
In evidence, also, is the Pelosi-Reid congressional capitulations on many fronts-- the war, executive and judicial constitutional violations, widespread corporate and banking fraud, not to mention their own party's ethics, lobbying, and earmark record. Also we should note their disenfranchisement of their Michigan and Florida members. Their failure to represent their constituents instead of their contributors is the real endemic problem in Washington.
Whoever wins the party nomination it will likely be because of some intrinsically undemocratic machinations.
Its becoming more than obvious that the Democratic Party needs a change to become the democratic party.
