For those of you who have been picking apart Hillary's campaign expenditures, I have some questions
- The Obama campaign has a goal of having supporters make 100,000 calls to voters by tomorrow night. Let's say that they get a tidy 500,000 calls by the end of February. How much money does that amount to as a collective in-kind donation to the Obama campaign?
- Does Clinton have something similar going? If so, how ambitious is it? If not, why not?
- Does this remind any of you old Deaniacs of the 'Write a letter to an Iowan' campaign?
- Has anyone done this? What's your ratio of 'successes' to 'no result'?
- Are there any limits to these in-kind donations? Could I, for example, abandon a new car with keys in the ignition in front of the Chicago HQ for them to use? And if not, how would that be different from running up a $10,000 phone bill on BHO's behalf (assuming one could)?
Thanks for your thoughts, and cheers.
