Sorry if this is not diary-worthy, and if it's already been diaried, but...
but....
You've simply gotta see/hear this, if you haven't already.
This video brought tears to my eyes, and I'm not normally a really emotional person. But then again, Barack Obama has been doing that a lot lately. As I was explaining to my wife tonight, I think that in the last few days, I've realized just how emotionally involved I've become with this campaign. How excited I am at the prospect of Barack Obama winning the Presidency. How thrilling it is to imagine him taking the oath of office. And serving our nation for 4 or 8 years. And being the first President my future child (hope we'll have one in the next year or two) knows.
And how disappointed I'll be if it doesn't happen.
And that's why I'm spending as much time as I can working: the 5 hours I spent knocking on doors yesterday, the 8 or so hours I spent working the amazing Minneapolis rally today (20,000 people!), the hours I'll spend tomorrow knocking on doors before the Super Bowl (go Pats!)....
We can do this. It's gonna take a lot of work, but it's going to be well worth it in the end.
Yes we can! Si se puede!
