Since almost as long as I can remember, a large segment of my friends have been vegetarians or vegans. Hell, I was engaged to a vegetarian once, and in my small apartment building in West Philly there are five vegetarians, one vegan, and one omnivore. Personally, I became a vegetarian about one year ago after a couple of abortive attempts.
There are roughly the same numbers of atheists as there are vegetarians in this country (around 8-10%). If more than half of the people on this site claim to not believe in God, I wonder if we are disproportionately vegetarian as well. Since we all recently found out whether or not we believed in God, I thought it would be interesting to discuss our eating habits.
