Super delegates? I don't think so.
MoveOn members voted for their candidate of choice through a simple majority vote. MoveOn rightly will support the winner, Obama, going forward. Now after a slew of primaries are past and the race between Obama and Clinton is very close, with more primaries to come, likely followed by continued closeness, Democratic voters may see their hopes and dreams go up in a smoke filled room. If progressives want to take control over the Democratic party they had better convince the DNC to abandon the idocy of super delegates, synonomous with the electoral college, and be democratic. The selection of the next Democratic party nominee for President must become the will of the people through the vote of a simple majority, nation wide. It is a simple matter to count the votes and declare a winner at the end of the primary. Anything short of that is business as usual and very discouraging.
