"Bro's before Hoe's" Tshirts and posters are being sold online and are being worn to Obama's rally's and to his caucuses.
This isn't just about an offensive campaign slogan being used by some Obama supporters, it is about a huge segment of the American population, and that type of mentality keeping them from rising up out of poverty.
Infant mortality is highest in homes were women live below the poverty level.
Aids and HIV is highest among women living below the poverty level.
Kids living in homes without fathers and in neighborhoods were this is common also grow up and raise kids as a single parent.
Many don't even finish high school, much less go to college.
Substance abuse is higher within this demographic as well as prostitution and also domestic violence.
It isn't only women who should be offended by that slogan, especially in a Presidential race, but it should be every American who cares about any of the issues I just mentioned.
Here's your chance Obama, step up to the plate and address this segment of the population and tell them they are only perpetuating the mentality that keeps so many women not only in poverty, but also in situations that endanger their lives and their childrens lives as well.
Speak out, you have the floor at your next rally!! If you see the shirts, the posters, and the buttons, please stand up and say something to these kids and let them know that what they are saying is actually a very bad reflection on who they are and what they support.
"We shall overcome" and we shall start by getting rid of offensive crap like this: "Bro's before Hoe's"
