February 5, 2008 Obama addressed his crowd with a speech "...our time has come...." This sentence stood out to me as I began to read. I began to find an underling theme in the content of his campaign text.
Our time? Who’s time? What Obama really means is "...African Americans our time has come..." As a black male from Florida, I am bothered by Obama, the man who transcends races, politics, etc., some how gets a free pass on race baiting. Obama has been able to secretively bring race in under the radar, and the media has not questioned him (Obama) on this hidden racial coded sentence: "our time has come." The media is afraid of one word "racist" to describe their network, if they ask Obama what color is the shoes on his feet, his campaign will fire off a memo calling on racism to save the day.
Well, let me see, when in South Carolina, President Clinton said at a campaign rally "...you said in 2004 there was no difference between you and George Bush on the war and you took that speech you’re now running on off your website in 2004 and there is no difference in your record and Hillary’s ever since. Give me a break." "This whole thing is the biggest fairy tale I’ve ever seen..."
The very next day, listening to 94.5 FM in FL Tom Joyner, Al Sharpton, and many others jumped on this and implied what they thought Bill said. They called this a form of race baiting, well, where did Bill bring race into that primary? It never happened. They used the Race card for the first time and it worked.
Al Sharpton should know better, he has said many racist things and no one have really challenged him. Why? He too would pull the race card. Al said "we taught (meaning blacks) philosophy and astrology and mathematics before Socrates and them Greek homos ever got around to it." Sharpton said this to a mass. So can some one tell me who is Al to pile onto Bill and demand correctness. Now the comment Al made is racist, and his tough talk to the Clinton’s then did makes him a hypocrite through my eyes. I need not say any more about Al.
Obama has made a racist implication about Sen. Clinton some time ago, referring to her as the Senator from Punjab. What did Obama mean by that comment? That is a slap across the face to Indians in America and around the entire world.
Now today, Ferraro steps down from Clinton’s camp. She did nothing wrong here. Is not some of what she says true. Yes. The media is in Obama’s pocket and the media asks Obama at what angle will he position is posterior today so they may kiss away. The media jumped over this until she stepped down, but I think America will see this for what it is, they were attacking a white women for no reason, no reason at all, what crime has she committed. Obama let his attack dogs out today to do his will and once again he pulls the race card. This is getting old, so while he is running, you can not say anything about Rezko, present votes in the IL Senate, etc, if this "hurts" Obama in any way, you will be seen as a racist. Obama get over it and stop the media from helping you pull the race card time and time again, this has to stop. When you keep playing those games, you get the results that you saw out of MS in last night’s election.
