It was very weird .. I was driving home, listening to NPR until it became too unpalatable (at which point I'd switch to one of the local college stations). All of a sudden, I hear them talking about Senator McCain's "moment" of confusion regarding exactly who gets trained by who over in those furrin places where our friends and kids are dying ...
They didn't elaborate much, just pretty much stated it as it happened including Joey-boy whispering in his ear. Then they mentioned that this wasn't the first time it had happened!
Could this story be getting traction, he asks? I'm not going to make any distasteful Alzheimer's references, my mom passed away from complications from it a couple of years ago. Suffice to say that I at least expected them to poop out something inane, something about his age ..
But what they did was, without intro or pause, cut into a story on Pakistan. It was so bizarre that I called a friend of mine to ask if he had heard the story (he hadn't). I got home and it shows the story at the end of the first 30 minute segment, but audio isn't available yet.
Anyone else catch it? It seemed very weird ...
link for when it shows up
