I'm sick of hearing Hillary whine and moan about Michigan and Florida. Two states which wouldn't cut heavily into Obama's delegate lead anyways, and would only get him closer to 2024.
It's probable neither state will get their act together, so it seems likely that we're in store for months of hearing Hillary complain that she doesn't agree with the rules she agreed to in January.
Obama needs to come out strong on this. Say bluntly that he supports primaries in both state on the condition that no one is barred from voting.
Hell, take it a step further, offer to pay half the cost on the condition the Hillary pays the other half. With 50 million a month coming in, he could afford it. Hillary would likely balk at the offer and be put on the defensive.
Our Governor, Jennifer Granholm, a Clinton surrogate, and champion of the Jan 15th primary was on the local news tonight, saying it's solely Obama's fault for refusing to give the people of Michigan a voice.
I'm sick of this talking point. This is one of the only issues she has left. Make a direct offer to give her everything she's asking for. It won't matter. She's already lost.
Update: The point isn't that this is Obama's fault or responsibility. The point is he needs to end the attacks by Clinton and Granholm which could cost him votes him in the general election. A "it's their fault, not my problem" mentality will only hurt.
