This is why they have formed human shields of the women and children
We desire death like you desire life ...that's quite the pronouncement.
So what can you say? That's the Hamas strategy. But it's never been admitted to so clearly, as in this video.
Hamas commits war crimes by firing thousands of rockets into Israel from Gaza, which finally provokes a forceful response. Hamas then screams about civilians killed - even tho that's their admitted plan -and watches with glee as the worldwide media prints the stories. Quite the trick.
Western TV blasts the stories on newscasts. Images of dead civilians get played round the clock on Arabic satellite television channels as well.
What a sham. What a disaster for the Palestinian people. They're pawns of the Islamists. Brainwashed or forced into sacrificing their lives for a hard core Islamist theology.
Wack
But hey. Everyone wants a cease fire right? Certainly. Egypt's been trying to broker one between the two parties.
What are the terms of a cease fire that both Hamas and Israel can live with?
Well for starters Israel wants weapons smuggling into Gaza via Egypt completely stopped. That makes sense. Why would Israel allow Hamas time to grow it's military arsenal only to become as strong as Hezbollah? Why would Israel allow Hamas to acquire long range missiles in an interim cease fire deal? Why would Israel allow Hamas to acquire more anti aircraft weaponry?
Top members of the IDF General Staff have expressed their opposition to the deal Egypt is trying to broker between Israel and Hamas in an effort to obtain a cessation of violence in the Gaza Strip, defense officials told The Jerusalem Post on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, head of the Defense Ministry's Diplomatic-Security Bureau, Amos Gilad, traveled to Cairo for talks with Egyptian Intelligence Minister Omar Suleiman, who has been mediating between Israel and Hamas on the deal.
Gilad, defense officials said, told Suleiman that Israel would not be able to agree to any type of cease-fire with Hamas if the border between Gaza and Egypt were not first sealed and the smuggling of weapons completely stopped by the Egyptian troops deployed there.
"A continuation of the smuggling into Gaza will defeat the purpose of a cease-fire," one defense official said.

Well, that seems obvious and I doubt Hamas will agree to it. It goes against their core beliefs. It weakens them. It's a non starter.
What else is involved in a cease fire deal? Obviously rocket fire from Gaza must cease and Israeli incursions into Gaza as well. Hamas wants Israeli incursions which target militants in the WB to stop too.
There's talk of opening the Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt, but who will man them , Fatah, EU and/or Hamas remains in question.
At issue is who will handle security at Rafah and the degree to which searches can proceed. Hamas is asking for its own security officials to be involved in monitoring the border crossing but would consider an official Palestinian Authority security presence.

EU monitors would also remain at the crossing but Hamas insists they live in Egypt from here on, not in Israel. Israel will want to be able to monitor what crosses the border in some way. Weapons smuggling and all.
Where's this all going? Who knows.
