I have always been baffled by Hillary's vote for the war, and any Democratic politician's for that matter. To me it shows a striking lack of judgment or courage, or both. The war broke out when I was 17; even then I knew the administration's claims regarding WMDs were in all probability bunk. But Hillary has finally clarified the logic underlining her war vote. I have to say, it's made me reevaluate my support for Obama. Her explanation over the fold!
Her detailed explanation of the cause of her vote in support of the war resolution:
You know, I think that, a minor blip, you know, if I voted a certain way, you know, I vote on a lot of things -- millions of votes a day -- so if I misvoted, that was just a mis-yea.
I don't know about you, but water under the bridge. Some of my political heroes misvote all the time. Remember when Feingold accidentally voted yea to re-legalize indentured servitude in this country? That was a lark!
