The narrative is already beginning to change. Even the mainstream media is reporting Hillary has zero chance of winning the primary. All she's accomplishing now is bloodying Obama and making it harder for him to defeat McCain in the fall. As a Democrat and staunch supporter of Barack Obama I find this unacceptable, and if those who claim to be Democrats but support Clinton knew it was helping get a Republican in the White House, they might find it unacceptable too.
We need a narrative change. The longer the primary battle rolls on, the worse Obama's general chances are. The Clinton campaign reeks of desperation from their letter to Pelosi, to Clinton trying to reignite the Wright controversy, to Carville's claims that anyone who goes to Obama's camp is a "Judas." This has to stop.
The polls show Obama losing handidly in Pennsylvania next month. However, this doesn't have to happen and it might not if there's a shift in the narrative. An Obama win in PA would end the race immediately. That would be monumental. It would also greatly improve our chances in November and we could start concentrating our fire-power where it's needed... on John Sidney McCain who's been sitting pretty this whole time. If Obama loses PA, he will still win the primary eventually, but it will get bloodier and uglier and may be the decisive factor that costs him the White House in November. How many PA Democrats would vote for Clinton if they knew they were essientially voting for McCain?
We need to get word to the media and to our friends and family in PA... a vote for Clinton is a vote for McCain. Stop the madness in April. Vote for Obama and let's move this race to where it should be... us against the Republicans. Not us against us.
