I am writing this diary to share with you, a powerful video of two white pastors' recent sermons at the Rev. Wright's Trinity United Church of Christ.
This video weaves these two courageous pastors' sermons as they powerfully defend Rev. Wright from the recent shameful attacks on him, and expose the distortions that painted him as a rabid racist who prays for the destruction of the US.
The fight against the smear attacks on Rev. Wright, and by association on Sen. Obama is one with big implications in the upcoming primaries, but more importantly in the general election campaign against McCain.
Well .. the fight has been launched - the smear campaign and distortions on Rev. Wright and by association on Sen. Obama are being exposed.
This video, along with expressions of support by various churches and pastors both black and white are exposing the distortions created about TUCC and Rev. Wright.
Sen. Obama's comment yesterday at a rally where he pointed out that TUCC is part of a national church that is 90% white shines the light on the lies about TUCC and Rev. Wright.
TUCC is not some fringe black extremist church where racism against whites is the overriding ideology!
The video of the courageous pastors standing by and defending their fellow pastor at a time when he is under a devastating attack, will help expose the blatant lies and distortions that TUCC is a den of rabid racists presided by a pastor who is crazy with hate of white people and his country.

Lastly let me add a few quotes from Rev. Martin E. Marty who is Rev. Wright's teacher and friend. Rev. Martin E. Marty (he happens to be white).
Rev. Martin E. Marty is professor emeritus at the University of Chicago Divinity School and a panelist for On Faith, of Washingtonpost.com. His most recent book is The Christian World: A Global History (Modern Library, 2008).

Rev. Wrights Teacher and Friend Martin E. Marty: Prophet and Pastor
Through the decades, the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. has called me teacher, reminding me of the years when he earned a master's degree in theology and ministry at the University of Chicago — and friend. My wife and I and our guests have worshiped at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, where he recently completed a 36-year ministry.
In the early 1960s, at a time when many young people were being radicalized by the Vietnam War, Wright left college and volunteered to join the United States Marine Corps. After three years as a marine, he chose to serve three more as a naval medical technician, during which time he received several White House commendations. He came to Chicago to study not long after Martin Luther King Jr.'s murder in 1968, the U.S. bombing campaign in Cambodia in 1969, and the shooting of students at Kent State University in 1970.
