or in this case Father.
Remember the biblical story of 2 women who come to the king both claiming that an infant is theirs? The king says to split the baby in two and give them each half, one woman says no, don't hurt the baby. The king gave her the baby as she proved she was the real mother.
Seems Obama is showing that he's the true parent of Florida. (maybe somebody can suggest a better word than parent in this situation)
The Saint Petersburg Times thinks so although not in so many words.
Clinton's solutions for Florida, Michigan delegates fall short
The politcal editor has some pretty scathing remarks for Clinton.
Nice try. But with every passing day, Sen. Clinton looks like the one most likely to disenfranchise Florida Democrats, not Sen. Obama.
The Clinton campaign has shown no interest in negotiating. Nor did it show much enthusiasm for the Florida Democrats' proposal to hold a statewide mail-in primary — until after the state party finally killed that idea.
Perhaps the Clinton campaign has concluded that using the Florida and Michigan mess as a cudgel to slam Obama's electability is preferable to finding a solution.
The Obama campaign has called a 50/50 solution as a starting point, indicating that negotiations could lead to Clinton coming out with more delegates from the state.
