I just finished reading Jonathan Alter's web article on delegate math through the conclusion of Primary Season.
Hillary Clinton may be poised for a big night tonight, with wins in Ohio, Texas and Rhode Island. Clinton aides say this will be the beginning of her comeback against Barack Obama. There's only one problem with this analysis: they can't count.
It appears as though only through a series of highly unlikely circumstances can Sen. Clinton secure sufficient delegates to take the lead in Automatic Delegates.
It is an interesting quick read. Even more interesting is the Delegate Calculator at Slate! I spent more time here than I did reading the article. It is a pretty nifty tool.
What I learned
-HRC needs a margain of victory of 16% for each contest through Puerto Rico to squeak by BHO in Automatic Delegates.
-I am easily distracted by shiny toys.
-HRC is digging her political grave and making it deep enough for the whole Democratic party. (And President Bill's legacy too!)
(Any update was for typing errors - except the one where I removed the "snark" tag for incorrect usage)
