I honestly would like to know the answer to that question, and my blood pressure wouldn't survive a look-see at MyDD or Hillary44 to find out. I'm hoping that some Kossacks will help me out.
Most Obama supporters have consistently said that they will vote for Clinton, if she is the nominee. And, no doubt, they still will, albeit holding their noses.
Of those Obama supporters who now state that they won't vote for Clinton, most say that they initially had ambivalent feelings towards Hillary, not really liking her policies, but still willing to vote for her because we need to get a Dem in the White House. Now, because of Hillary's negative campaign tactics - dissing caucus states and small states, outright lying about Obama's sub-committee assignment, NAFTA-gate, comparing Obama unfavorably to the Republican nominee, etc., etc,- some are saying that they won't vote for Hillary. I can understand their feelings.
But, what has Obama done to incur the animosity of Clinton supporters? I mean, he's run a clean campaign, not personally attacking Clinton (that I know of), he's got tons of young people - the future of this country - excited about participating in democracy, he's got a good platform that isn't that different from Clinton's, he's got a beautiful family, and he has more experience in Washington than Bill did when he was inaugurated.
He may not be their first choice (he wasn't mine), but why the venom?Anyone have an answer?
