On tonight's Real Time with Bill Maher, Bill asked Terry McAuliffe this question: It looks like this is going all the way. Now if when we get the last primary which I believe is Puerto Rico...what if Barack Obama, or conversely Hillary is ahead in popular vote, delegates, and states won? Is that enough even if they're short of the 2025... delegates you actually need to confirm the nomination, if they've won popular vote, states and delegates, is that enough if one of them wins that for the other guy to say, okay, you've got it?
Video below with McAuliffe's answer.
I think this is pathetic, and I was an Edwards supporter, and I've thrown my hat in with Obama since Edwards got out of the race. I was happy to vote for Hillary Clinton if she got the nomination when Edwards first got out, but if Hillary Clinton and her campaign advisors think that the people of this country will put up with the nomination being handed over to her by the Superdelegates, then they don't care if there's anything left of the Democratic Party in this country. I thought McAuliffe's performance on Real Time tonight was shameless and I was glad to see Maher call him out on a few fronts tonight.
