Running through my email, I encountered the latest desperate plea from Senator Clinton concerning Pennsylvania.
She definitely is struggling to keep a meager win in place.
My response below the fold.
Here is yesterday's appeal for money from Senator Clinton:
With 14 days to go until the people of Pennsylvania vote, the Obama campaign has decided to go all-out. They're trying to end the race for the White House with an unyielding media blitz. Right now, we're being outspent 4-1 on Pennsylvania television.
So now, here's what we have to ask ourselves: Have we come this far in our history-making contest for the Democratic nomination only to see the race decided not by the quality of our ideas but by the size of our opponent's media budget?
And my reply:
Dear Senator Clinton:
The quality of ideas and the demonstration of leadership have passed to Senator Obama.
He is outspending you 4-1 because he has better ideas supported by better organizational skills.
You have repeatedly said you would be ready on day one. But we are 300 days away from Day One and your organization is in disarray. If you cannot run a political campaign, how are we to believe you can run the US Government.
Very truly yours,
DrDave
She goes on to say:
Everywhere I campaign in Pennsylvania, I meet people who are bearing the brunt of George Bush's failures on the war, the economy, health care, and other critical issues.
They're eager to hear our powerful call for change. But, we need more ads on the air to make sure our message gets through to people.
Unfortunately, her belated call for change comes after a yearlong campaign based on inevitability and entitlement, with no significant emphasis on Change.
Senator Obama is the change agent in 2008 and Hillary cannot micro-triangulate change.
