Hillary's foray into republican talking points continues. On the heels of her attacking Obama over bittergate, she has now fully embraced the dark side.
She first goes on the attack in Scranton:
Pressed on whether she truly believes Obama is an elitist, Clinton called him "a good man," but recalled the narratives of the 2000 and 2004 president election.
"You don’t have to think back too far to remember that good men running for president were viewed as being elitist and out of touch with the values and lives of millions of Americans," she said.
But she doesn't stop there, and continued her attacks at the Compassion Forum.
Clinton then repeated her suggestion that John Kerry and Al Gore had failed to be seen as respecting people of faith, said Obama is " a good man and a man of faith."
"We had two very good men, and men of faith, run for president in 2000 and 2004," she said. "Large segments of the electorate concluded that they did not really understand, or relate to, or respect their ways of life."
Fortunately, we had at least one actual democrat at the forum:
Hillary has begun to compare Obama's perceived elitism with Al Gore's, and blaming Gore's defeat with it.
Gore is probably the single most powerful superdelegate, and Obama begs to differ.
"Al Gore was mentioned earlier. I think Al Gore won," he says.
Shame on Hillary indeed.
