And every other nightmare the Bush Administration has visited upon the American people as well as to the innocent victims in Iraq.
Yesterday on Daily Kos blogger Billary Redux revealed the Sean Hannity/George Stephanopoulos collaboration in ABC’s preparation of questions for Senator Obama. Billary was spot on with this scoop because last night’s "debate" was a really a right-wing attack fest on Senator Obama.

I was able to catch most of the debate on and off last night. I sat in profound shock during the first part of the debate. I was sick and nearly vomited. Is this really a Twilight Zone re-run I asked myself?
There they were. Two moderators and one candidate had tripled teamed Senator Obama as if he were an evil enemy from a foreign land. It was the ugliest, the most shameful and disgraceful debate I have ever watched in my middle aged life.
Is this what twenty years of the Bushes and Clintons have yielded in American politics? Have we become so hyper partisan and absorbed with our own personal self-interests, ambitions and greed that we’d bludgeon one fine jewel of a candidate in this fashion? A man who shows so much promise and who has engendered the excitement and involvement of so many Americans, young, old, black, white, brown, yellow and red? A man who is able to raise millions upon millions of dollars from small donors because they believe in his message of hope and yearn for change and healing in America? A man who will tell the truth about his former pastor and American bitterness? Is this what we do now?
Will this ugliness continue? Because if it does, we cannot blame Al Qaeda or terrorists for our ultimate demise. We have only ourselves to blame. It is time for all Americans to stand up and fight the corporate media and the politicians it enables. Donate, volunteer, walk the streets of the neighborhoods, make the phone calls. Get rid of Clintons, Bushes and all of their ilk NOW. Today donate $5.00 or whatever you have to Senator Obama’s campaign. Send a message to the liars in politics and in the media who work against our own interests.
No more ABC and other propagandists for the corporate and government power brokers and elite. Turn off the stupid tube news forever.
My email to ABC’s Elections Program Director Mr. Peter Salinger:
Dear Mr. Salinger:
I was appalled by the obvious bias of both Charlie Gibson and George Stephanopoulos last night in their questioning of Senator Barack Obama. This is unacceptable and unforgivable. Since when did journalists start behaving as hyper partisan hacks or worse, propagandists?
Viewers had to suffer through the inane and trivial garbage about negative wedge issues such as flag pins, the Reverend Wright issue (that voters no longer care about) and now Mr. Ayers. How pathetic.
President Bush and Vice President Cheney wear flag pins every day.
And they lied us into Iraq, too.
Where was the media's relentless grilling at the time?
Bush OK’d torture master minded by Cheney.
Where are the tough questions? The silence of the media in this regard is rather deafening.
Our nation is less safe today than it was prior to 9/11. We owe our financial souls to China. Our federal deficit is frightening. We torture. Our constitutional rights have been seriously compromised. We wire tap American citizens illegally. We have gulags for political prisoners.
When are you going to pose the same relentless and grueling questions to President Bush and all of his enablers, including yourselves, about the state of our nation today? Ever?
Charles Gibson and George Stephanopoulos held Senator Obama to standard last night they certainly obviously never held or hold today for the worst President in recent U.S. history. I am sure both "journalists" will give Senator McCain the same pass as they have President Bush as well.
Shame on ABC. The performance of your moderators last night is precisely the reason why I consider the Internet and blogosphere more relevant sources for news than I do ABC and FOX (whom you seem to collaborate with) News.
