I've said all along that the longer this primary went on, the better McCain's chances would be in November. Finally, Howard Dean gets the message:
An increasingly firm Howard Dean told CNN again Thursday that he needs superdelegates to say who they’re for – and "I need them to say who they’re for starting now."
"We cannot give up two or three months of active campaigning and healing time," the Democratic National Committee Chairman told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer. "We’ve got to know who our nominee is."

Hopefully this will help jumpstart the motors in superdelegates. The only problem I see in this is if Hillary wins in Penn by over 10 points and also wins in Indiana, this may hinder the Obama's case.
It's important for Obama supporters to work like we never have before to ensure that Barack proves his point by winning Indiana and keeping Clinton's win in the Keystone State by under 10. Let's start donating and phonebanking! Channel the energy and anger that ABC gave us into something positive so that we can begin our fight against John McCain and his continued Bush policies.
Yes we can!
Edit: Wow. Thanks for the recs! It's my first. I made a couple of calls to some folks in Pennsylvania while I was away and they were upset at the treatment Obama took last night as well. One was even a Clinton supporter until last night!
Since this diary is a bit light on details, I'll just share why I support Obama:
I was raised by a single mother just like Barack in a bi-racial household. When I read "Dreams From My Father", I felt as if I could totally relate to him. That he went through the issues I had gone through growing up.
I'm from New York, and I must admit I voted for Clinton twice, I've even defended her. But her behavior in this election is despicable, and I know from my experience with the massive amounts of Republicans that I hang out with, that they despise her. If this sentiment echoes from ordinary people, how does she expect to build a coalition of agreement that we need to fix this country? I don't think she can. But I do believe Barack can. I believe strongly that he can be the one that will break this cycle of BS that we've encountered. He may not be deliver on all his promises if elected, but I do trust that he will do his best. I believe he has a conscience and I'm a pretty jaded voter (especially after the 2004 election).
Hopefully the superdelegates see this and understand that he stands as the Democrats best chance in winning the presidency. Clinton and Obama may be similar on many issues, but style counts, and Obama has loads of it.
