Script: It's 3 a.m. and your children are safe and asleep. But there's a phone ringing in the White House and this time the crisis is economic. Home foreclosures mounting, markets teetering. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama just said they’d solve the problem by raising your taxes. More money out of your pocket. John McCain has a better plan. Grow jobs, grow our economy ... not grow Washington. It’s 3 a.m., time for a president who is ready."
Summary: DEMOKRATZ WILL HAS UR TAXEZ KTHNX. McCain is an agent of change.
Ah, the old "Democrats will raise your taxes" mantra. From the guy who is complaining about Democrats misrepresenting a direct quote about Iraq, a massively hypocritical lie about Obama and Clinton's economic policy is expected.
It's laughable that St. John McSame would even imply that he's ready to handle any economic crisis. After all, his solution to the housing crisis is to deregulate the economy, and his economic adviser is one of the key players who got us into this mess.
Here are my favorite McCain quotes on the economy:
I don’t believe we’re headed into a recession," he said, "I believe the fundamentals of this economy are strong and I believe they will remain strong.
The issue of economics is not something I’ve understood as well as I should.
I've got Greenspan's book.
I'm glad whenever they cut interest rates, I wish interest rates were zero.
And the idea that McLobbyist has any intention of shrinking Washington is a joke. John McCain's campaign is mired with Lobbyists, and his recent hiring of Doug Davenport just shows the pattern.
