Did Rush Limbaugh cross the line when he hoped for riots during the Denver Democratic National Convention? That's the question posed in a poll on TheDenverChannel.com
If you have been in a cave and haven't followed the news or other posts here you might have missed the news that Rush has done it again - he opened his mouth and sewage came out.
From the DenverChannel.com:
Talk show host Rush Limbaugh is sparking controversy again after he made comments calling for riots in Denver during the Democratic National Convention this summer.
He said the riots would ensure a Democrat is not elected as president, and his listeners have a responsibility to make sure it happens.
"Riots in Denver, the Democrat Convention would see to it that we don't elect Democrats," Limbaugh said during Wednesday's radio broadcast. He then went on to say that's the best thing that could happen to the country.
Personally, I think this goes way over the line. This is wreck-less and dangerous. If any liberal talk show host had said something like this, they would likely be fired.
However, when I went and voted in the poll, I found out something shocking.
Out of the 11,164 polled, 62%(6,944) people said "no", Limbaugh had not crossed the line!
