Well, as I'm sure you all are now aware, the Clintons have released their tax returns for the last seven years. I don't have much to add to the discussion except the obvious observation that these numbers may make it difficult to appear within the mainstream of the American public, as all candidates are wont to do.
As a non-millionaire with admittedly little to say about the revelation, I thought I'd share a short web video I put together for this occasion:
Now I don't know if the Clintons still eat Kraft dinners, but I'm pretty sure that a lot of us do, and we'd be eating a lot more of them if we had the bulk buying power of the Clintons.
That said, I don't begrudge the Clintons their ability to buy truckloads of mac and cheese or fancy ketchups, but I'd just ask them to remember that for some of us, it isn't really a choice, but a necessity.
