This past week McCain made some pretty bold predictions about what life would be like at the end of his first term. I guess someone forgot to tell him, he is not going to have a first term! So here are my predictions for President Obama's first term.
In President Obama's first term, we will no longer be in Iraq and our focus will have been moved to Afghanistan where the real threat from Al-Qaeda exists. We will have made real progress towards defeating Al-Qaeda, more than has been ever made during the Bush administration. Gitmo will be closed. Our nation will engage in diplomacy once again (and none of this surrender or we blow the crap out of you) The world will once again look at the United States as a leader on the world stage. On the home front, the economy will have turned around and less and less jobs are being sent overseas. Health care will not be something that only the wealthy can afford but something everybody has. Bush's tax cuts will have been replaced with tax cuts for middle America, the government will finally be helping those who actually need help. No child left behind will no longer be used instead it will be replaced with a system were every child no matter where they live gets the same education as everybody else. For a change will have a government that is accountable, and up front with Americans, we will have a united America, we will have a government that doesn't talk down to Americans, we will have a government that doesn't lie to Americans and the world, we will have a government that respects the constitution, we will have a government that works with (a 70+ majority dem) Congress and finally we will have a government that is not full of criminals. When his term does end the American people will be so grateful to President Obama that we will hear from coast to coast, "Four more years!!!"
