Above is video of US Senate candidate Mark Begich speaking to the Alaska Democratic Convention at the Palmer Fair Grounds last night. It was a great event with about 1,000 Democrats coming together from across Democrats
Obama's speech was delivered via video, but received a very strong response from the crowd.
Rep. Lynn Woolsey was in attendance speaking on behalf of Hillary Clinton's campaign, but I unfortunately don't have a copy of her speech to share.
Alaska's progressive blogosphere was out in force.
Steve at What Do I Know had quite a prolific day covering the Convention, with ten posts on the event! Here's his post on Mark's speech to the Democrats assembled at the Palmer Fair Grounds.
Dennis Zaki has a ton of great photos, videos, and speeches on his blog from the Convention.
Phil Munger at Progressive Alaska has a great summary of the day's events at the Convention.
Celtic Diva has a play by play of the Convention, including her foibles with a brand new computer and the Vista operating system. I got to meet Celtic Diva in person for the first time last night, and sadly I was also a witness to her blogging being slowed somewhat by computer troubles.
Sean Cockerham of the Anchorage Daily News Alaska Politics blog was at the Convention too, and had five posts up from the Convention floor.
