Remember the manufactured outrage that led to the moveon condemnation?
What's worse, an ad that makes a play on words "General Betrayus", or a pundit who "mistakenly" conflates Obama with Osama, then jokes that bumping them both off would be okay?
When I first read Lauren S's diary, I was disgusted, but I can't say that I was really shocked, after all, it's Fox News we are talking about here, it's hard to predict where the bottom of their slime pit lies.
How about Fox being on the receiving end of a Congressional resolution of condemnation?

Update:
Let's face it, outrage fatigue is a real thing, it's easy to become numbed to the constant parade of dangerous stupidity on display in the media and in the government. There are moments, however when a well placed letter of phone call to your Rep can be useful.
Final Update: Does this issue belong before Congress at all? As commenters have suggested, speech is something that isn't within Congress's purview, and shouldn't be legislated. I agree, and wasn't clear enough in my writing. Apologies for the clumsiness with which I tried to make my point. My real intent was to point out the double standard. Besides, It would be entertaining to hear a Congressional blowharded explanation as to why this situation doesn't merit the same response.
