Hope everyone enjoyed the weekend - our celebration has come to an end, a little early, but most of us have big work days ahead tomorrow, you play you pay or so it goes with many jobs.
So what's with the title?
You'd have to hear it to believe it - some kind of songbird took off with her tunes just about the time we turned on the grill, over and over she sang what sounded just like . . .
TAMMY, TAMMY, TAMMY. a three second pause and then
TAMMY, TAMMY, TAMMY.
I know we have a lot of bird experts who read this site. I'm an amateur bird watcher with at least one feeder full at all times. I've never ever heard this particular bird's song. And I didn't get as much as a glimpse of him/her as "it" was sitting in a large, mature pine tree several yards away.
TAMMY, TAMMY, TAMMY
Was this bird a Cary Grant fan with a twist?
Feel free to use this diary as an open thread. My account is getting cobwebs and after yesterday's pressurewashing, I'm into the clean thing.
