As a New Yorker, I do not feel at all in the least that Hillary Clinton represents me as a left leaning Independent – and btw, her husband is the reason I opted out of the pseudo Rethug Democratic Party of his day – and for that reason, I am determined to work hard to have her primary’d out of her senate seat.
Talk of her running for Governor and ousting David Patterson, apart from being highly obnoxious and dismissive of David Patterson, was clearly misguided at the least, as Patterson is proving himself quite clearly to be a man of action, and action on the right side of leftwing politics. I look forward to having him re-elected, and would not abide Hillary over him any day!
When I have written of this in the past, I have often received comments about her prominent status as a Democratic leader, but she has shown herself to be neither a leader nor a Democrat in anything other than by name. Further, people seem to forget the not-so-distant history of another of our Democratic Party Presidential candidates, and former VP candidate primaried successfully, and that we all have now come to recognize for the green snake in the grass he always was, and have come to love to hate. I am sure I will get more such comments, but as powerful as Kos is as a Speaker’s Corner, I am determined to keep this issue nice and warm in the oven until I see it embraced and come to fruition. I will not in the least be surprised when a few months from now, after HRC has finally achieved the full pariah status that she is working so hard towards, if she doesn’t join Liar-Joe-berman in the lonely hawkish middle all by their cozy lonesome!
