I peeked over at MyDD to see how they're parsing the day's events, and came across this ironically revealing quote from Todd Beeton:
...there's no getting around the fact that declaring victory with simply a majority of pledged delegates qualifies as moving the goal posts and changing the rules in the middle of the game, something Obama supporters have long chided the Clinton campaign for doing. So, while the Obama campaign will try to end it after Oregon and Kentucky vote on May 20, I suspect this thing will only end when Senator Clinton says it does.
So that's what we're down to now with Hillary. Although I'm sure Todd didn't mean it this way, he's exactly spot on. As long as she refuses to quit, she sees herself in control. The very concept of Obama walking past her to declare victory without her consent will make Hillary supporters' heads explode.
