Just read a long recced diary about Jack Abramoff's sentencing this coming September. Here's the link.

That diary left me with several questions, so I thought I would post my own diary of questions and see if my fellow kossacks will provide some answers.
Question #1:
How come the Bush DOJ is doing such a bang-up job against Abramoff when that same DOJ has dragged its feet (at best) or simply refused to act in so many other cases?
Question #2:
Exactly where and how does John McCain fit into the Abramoff scandal? Is McCain a minor player or might there be major damage to McCain's election prospects as this case unfolds?
Question #3:
When will George W. Bush pardon Jack Abramoff? Will he wait until December, or will Bush break new ground and rescue Jack (and McCain and other Republicans) before the November election?
