Havn't seen this posted yet, but let me know if it has...
I'm at work, so this is a quick diary.
Reuters has reported that the Government Accountability Office has
vindicated Boeing in their review of the Air Force's decision to award
the refueling tanker contract to EADS.
The Government Accountability Office found the Air Force
made "a number of significant errors that could have affected the
outcome of what was a close competition between" Boeing and Northrop
Grumman Corp.
This is great news for Boeing, Boeing employees, and the US economy.
Not such great new for John McCain and his lobbiest buddies. It's not
over yet - the GAO has recommeded the Air Force re-bid the contract -
but as a Boeing employee I was very glad to hear this.
