Politico is talking about it, and they have a link to ABC's Political Radar:
And here that is
Some snippets:
Asked by Snow if she would feel safe with Obama as president, McCain replied, "I would feel safe with my husband as president . . .I think Barack Obama is a fine man and Michelle Obama is a fine woman (but) this is about who would be better and I think my husband would be better."
"Everyone has their own experience. I don't know why she said what she said, all I know is that I have always been proud of my country."
Basically, what I'd like to have an open forum of tonight (and I guess tomorrow morning, for you East Coasters) about what the proper response should be from both the blogosphere and the Obama campaign.
Barack has already made his stance clear, but it's incredibly hard to figure out where we bloggers can (and should) draw our own line. Most of us know that there is a wealth of material and ammunition to throw at the other side of the aisle. That doesn't make it fair and this does not make it appropriate to fight back.
However, I'm open to and encourage a healthy debate on the topic, as it seems the General is going to turn nasty for the first true time.
